MERRY-- MAKING

darkness seeps in, fumigates the sky
littered clouds smudge the lusty moon,
obliterates her, yields in a passionate swoon,
not a star is pinned... no, not yet;
below, the city is drunk:
the blaring mikes (political propaganda, lifeless celebrations)
the glaring lights(red, yellow, white and blue)
i shut my eyes, i block my ears and
let the DARKNESS seep deep into me,
the abysmal darkness---- a resurrection
i sway, i dance, i tremble, 
my vision blurs, my gait falters, i fall
deeper and deeper...eternally...
down into the darkness
